Connie Carver, 74, of Sparta, IL, born April 12, 1946 in Perryville, MO, passed away October 27, 2020 at her home.

Connie was a devoted member of the Sparta Eagles Club.  She also enjoyed going to yard sales to discover hidden treasures.  When she lived in Florida, Connie and her husband managed a hotel together.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents – Leonard Carl and Beulah Edna (Tucker) Ervin.   Daughter – Debra Mattingly.  Sister – Vada Cox.  Three brothers – Gary, Danny and David Ervin.

Connie is survived by her daughter – Judith (John Hill) Mattingly.  Special friend and niece – Tamatha Prince.  Special friends and first cousins – Lucille Clayton and Irene Tabor.  Sister – Kathy (Randy) Schliefer.  Cousin – Leroy Gerlach.  Nephews and nieces – Gary (Brenda) Ervin; Scott (Michele) Ervin; Chad (Kelsie) Buss; Derek (Kristie) Buss; Tonya (Ron) Green; Lisa Weiler; Vicki Wethill.  Sister-in-law – Linda Ervin.  Cousins – Patty (Kelvin) Yount; Barb (Ronald) Wright; Karen (Jerry) Moore; Jamie Harris.  Great nieces and nephews.  Other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Maple Creek Hospice.

Funeral: Graveside services will be held at Caledonia Cemetery in Sparta, IL on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.  Friends and family are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.

Interment: Burial will be held at Caledonia Cemetery in Sparta, IL.
