My best memory actually is of both your parents. It was right after my dad married your aunt jan. my new mom. Your mom made thee best Oreo ice cream cake I’ve EVER had till this day!! Your mom was fighting the cancer my mom had. I immediately felt connected. She was so nice to me. Your dad always had a quiet but funny sense of humor.
My heart goes out to you and David.

I remember how he would smile and nod to acknowledge us when we’d rush down the hall in our giggly adolescent way… he was always there… a quiet constant in our teen and early adult years. He let us be as goofy, silly, serious, hyper, hysterical and outrageous as we wanted to be and he was always the same… Always mellow… he let us be who we needed to be in his quiet way. I love the picture of your dad on here. I remember that smile as I drove by your house and he would wave or the many times I spent at your house growing up. Thinking of you all.

I worked with Chuck during some of his years at Purina. He was always a joy to work with and even when problems occured, he maintained a calm head and helped work through the issue. I so sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with you.

    Cathy & David,

I often think of your fathers birthday celebration that first year after your mother’s death. The two of you helped bake the cake. Chuck came from work. Jack had a
