Camey Lynn Lee, 51, of Sparta, IL; born on May 8, 1972 in Red Bud, Illinois; the daughter of Reginald Dale and Judith Lee (Garland) Hargan; passed away on March 2, 2024 at Sparta Community Hospital.

She had an associates degree in drafting and worked as a drafter at Alkemeyer & Associates.  She loved Star Wars and increasing her Star Wars collection.  She also loved crocheting for her loved ones, helping anyone in need, constantly welcoming everyone into her family, and was a professional at bringing everyone together. She was loved by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her mother – Judith (Garland) Morris; step father – Avery Morris; five children – Kyra (Bert Jeffrey) Woodside, Joshua Woodside, Stephanie (Malik) Yahya, Hannah Harris, and Jerimiah Lee; thirteen grandchildren – Natasha Henry, Roman Westenberger, Aiden Woodside, Gabriel Woodside, Aisha Yahya, Iris Woodside, Jassir Yahya, Eris Jeffrey, Melione Jeffrey, Fadel Yahya, Artemis Jeffrey, Athena Jeffrey, and Selene Jeffrey ; one brother – Reginald (Melanie) Hargan, one sister – Jackie (Gary) Clayton; nieces & nephews – Madison Hargan, Caleb Hargan, Kiley Pruitt, Lindsey Pruitt, Logan Clayton, Isacc Hargan, Cody Clayton, Abel Clayton, and Summer Clayton.

Camey was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents – Vernon and Allene (Bechtoldt) Garland; step grandma – Louise Garland; paternal grandparents – Richard and Loretta (Sparling) Hargan.

The Visitation will be held at Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Tilden on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m.  Committal services will be held at Tilden Cemetery in Tilden, IL.

Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Tilden, Illinois is in charge of arrangements.

    Camey and I worked together for 13 years. She was always a kind, generous, and thoughtful person. We shared a love for Star Wars and we traded recipes. Even though for the past couple years I didn’t see her often because she worked from home, I will miss her.
