My condolences to the family. Bruce and I go way back as friends. My Mom always kidded him about cutting his hair and he just laughed. Lots of great memories.

HANNA
Bruce Allen Hanna, 67, of Coulterville, IL; born on June 22, 1955 in Fort Sill, OK, the son of Allen Eugene and Anna Louise (Phillips) Hanna; passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023 at home.
Bruce loved his pets and always went out of his way to help any animals in need. He enjoyed going to concerts, collecting guns, and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by two children – Michael Hanna of Evansville, IL and Lynn (Mike) Dettman of Du Quoin, IL; one grandson – Dylan (fiancé, Jade Gilter) Hanna; extended grandkids and great grandkids; three brothers – Dennis (Judi) Hanna of Sparta, IL, Gary (Trecia) Hanna of Sparta, IL, and Danny (Lisa Dickey) Hanna of Sparta, IL; one sister – Sheryl (Bobby) Blum of Baldwin, IL.
Bruce was preceded in death by his wife – Rose (Myerscough) Hanna and his parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to any Humane Society in Bruce’s memory.
Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.heilschuessler.com.
Visitation will be held at Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, IL on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Memorial Services will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Hahn officiating.
Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, IL is in charge of arrangements

To the family of Bruce. Sending many prayers for you all. Bruce and I graduated together. He always was so nice and kind to me. We had many fun times. He was forever calling me Lady B. We just laughed about it all the time. Bruce my friend, you’ll be Tremendously missed by all our classmates and friends. Thank you for your friendship. Gone, but never forgotten. Love you my dear friend. 💔

Bruce ~~I was thankful to always count him as one of my friends. He was always kind to me…he always called me “Rudy”….until we meet again.

I’m very sad & shocked to hear of Bruce’s death. We were friends since high school, although l can’t recall the last time we met in person. We were fb friends, & l always enjoyed his “passionate” comments on various subjects; we had friendly personal chats now & then also.
