Brandy Nicole Contratto, 24, of New Athens, IL; born on October 26, 1991 in Red Bud, IL; passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016.
Brandy was a much loved waitress and bartender at the Bull Pen Bar and Grill in New Athens, IL. She was a dedicated student and even loved to study. She was a recent graduate of SIU-E obtaining a bachelors degree in Science. She was currently enrolled at Lewis and Clark Community College where she was studying to be a dental hygienist. Brandy enjoyed being outdoors and especially liked to hunt and fish. She also loved eating sushi with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents – Tazo and Dorothy Contratto and Fred and Verna Nadler Sr. Two uncles – Fred Nadler, Jr.; Joe Nadler. Her fiancé’s grandparents – Herbert and Leona Harms
She is survived by her parents – Andy and Theresa, nee Nadler, Contratto of New Athens, IL. Her loving fiancé – Curtis Harms of Red Bud, IL. One brother – Brandon Contratto of New Athens, IL. Her aunts and uncles – Lanno Nerini; Griff Gresham; Mary (Brett) Harris; Patty (Steven) Davis; Barb Nadler; Mary (Dan) Neff; “Godparents” Beverly (Dave) Nadler, Cathy (Randy) Kunkelmann; Carol Nadler; Mike Nadler; Greg Nadler. Special cousins – Alicia Hepp and Nicole Duquette. She is also survived by her fiancé’s family – Clifford and Carol Harms; Cameron Harms; Christin Harms, Armin and Marlene Robert and his aunts and uncles. She also leaves behind loving cousins, so many friends and family including her Bull Pen family. Brandy will also be missed by her puppies – Sadie Bell and Zuppke.

Visitation: Friends may call at St. Agatha Catholic Church in New Athens, IL on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm (prayer service to be held Monday at 3:00pm) and on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 9:00am to 10:00am.
Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Agatha Catholic Church in New Athens, IL on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 10:00am with Father Clyde Grogan officiating.
Interment: Burial will be held in St. Agatha Catholic Cemetery in New Athens, IL.
