Betty J. Kopp (Morrison)

KOPP
Betty J. Kopp (Morrison), 86, of Sparta, IL; born on September 24, 1934 in Sparta, IL; passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at the Randolph County Care Center in Sparta, IL.
From the children of Betty Kopp: We lost our mom and friend to whom we have so many wonderful memories with. She raised three children which was not always easy, but we are all better for having her as our mom. She loved family time, especially when we were outside. Working in the yard always made her happy. Mom was the best at sewing and crafting as well. Our family was so fortunate that mom could sew or draw almost anything.
Christmases at our house were the best. Mom worked for a week preparing Christmas dinner. There were always plenty of homemade desserts. No one ever left hungry. There were three pets she enjoyed in later years. Her dogs Bege, Suzy and Simba were good company for her. They were always by her side. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Sparta and also a member at large of the Delta Theta Tau Sorority. She will forever be missed and held in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents – Elmo N. and Mildred (Fricke) Morrison.
She is survived by three children – Linda K. (Clint) Upschulte of Sparta, IL, James H. (Stacey) Morgan of Sparta, IL and Scott W. Morgan of Bloomingdale, IL; Five grandchildren – Morgan Pacheco, Lindsay Romo, Trevor Morgan, Kaitlyn Morgan and Jack Morgan; Five great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.heilschuessler.com.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Randolph County Humane Society.
Visitation: Family and friends may attend on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Heil-Schuessler & Sinn Funeral Home in Sparta, IL from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.

Briefly, your mom was a police dispatcher for Sparta Police Department. She always had a smile and I never knew her to say a bad thing about anybody. -
