SCHERF

Artha, nee Kesting, Scherf, 61, of Freeburg, IL; born on December 27, 1955 in Belleville, IL; passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Mrs. Scherf was a florist. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Frederick and Florence, nee Hazelwood, Kesting. One sister Elaine Burgett.

She is survived by her husband – Richard Scherf. Two daughters – Corin (Peter) Forster and Cayla (Derek Weikle) Scherf. Two grandchildren – Talia Forster and Jaden Forster. One brother – Fred (Candace) Kesting, Jr. Two sisters – Barb (Terry) Romeo and Donna (Tom) Coulter.
