My deepest condolences to Vicky & the girls, Andy’s brothers and all other family and close friends.

Andy was my cousin and I always looked up to Andy and not just because of his stature. Andy was always very kind & friendly, often taking time on some of his visits to play around with me when I was a kid, he gave rides on his shoulder which was fun yet kinda scary when I was little because I was so high up in the air and would toss the pigskin with me.

I have a picture of me and Andy taken at a family reunion about
33 years ago. At the time I had a pretty good growth spurt going and some even wondered if I might get fairly tall like Andy. Dad asked Andy to come pose for a picture with me so as he said “I’d know I wasn’t as big as I thought I was”. I didn’t grow another centimeter after that picture was taken 😂. But I’m glad I got it and have good memories of him. Everyone I’ve talked to here in Andy’s hometown has great things to say about him and good memories of him. He really was a quality dude.

  22. Barb Heck says:

It’s is with a heavy heart that I offer my condolences and prayers to Vicky, Taylor and Rachel and all of his loved ones. May God bless all of you with peace, comfort and strength. You are in my prayers.
