Amelia Mae, nee Keifer, Burt, 94, of Sparta, IL; born on September 12, 1924 in Tilden, IL; passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Mrs. Burt was a homemaker.  Amelia had a lifelong love of dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents – George and Cecelia Kiefer.  Her husband – Joseph Edward Mattingly.

She is survived by her children – Nancy Engelhardt of Arnold, MO; Bruce (Diana) Mattingly of Tilden, IL; Judy Shaw of Bradenton, FL; Keith (Donna) Mattingly of Tilden, IL.  Her grandchildren – Thomas Mattingly; Michael Mattingly; Blake Mattingly; Adam Marktoy.  Her great-grandchildren – Elizabeth Mattingly; Rebecca Mattingly; Lilly Marktoy; Paige Marktoy.

Visitation: Friends may call at the First Baptist Church in Tilden, IL on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am.

Funeral: Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Tilden, IL on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 11:00am with Rev. Paul Hahn officiating.

Interment: Burial will be held in the Tilden Cemetery in Tilden, IL.
