Alice Kathryn, nee Maurer, (Parker) Mueller, 92, of New Athens, IL, born January 15, 1927 in New Athens, IL, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Mrs. Mueller was a homemaker. She was also a member of St. John United Church of Christ in New Athens, IL, St. John Women’s Guild, St. John Quilters and the Heck
er Community Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents August and Lenora, nee Schmelzel, Maurer, her 1st husband; Albert Parker, who passed away on October 8, 1973, 1 son in infancy; Mark Parker, and her brother and sister-in-law; Eugene (Adele) Maurer.
Alice is survived by her 2nd husband; Robert Mueller of New Athens, IL, whom she married on August 21, 1976 in Hecker, IL, 6 children; Donna (Darwin) Haudrich of Hackett, AR, Elaine (James) Rader of Waterloo, IL, Eleanor Sue (David) Hepp of New Athens, IL, Neil (Laura) Parker of New Athens, IL, Marlene (Terry Florek) Mueller of Belleville, IL and Kathy (Ralph) Eckart of New Athens, IL, 15 grandchildren; Dawn Drackett, David (Michelle) Haudrich, Dana (Greg) Browning, Darin (Christina) Haudrich, Darla (Ryan) Schatz, Kelly (Jeff) Rowold, Jim (Chris) Rader, Jared (Naomi) Rader, Keri (Troy) Feldman, Dionne (Scott) Harriss, Clayton (Ali) Hepp, Aaron (Cassie) Parker, Zachary (Janel) Parker, Justin (Tisha) Eckart and Bethany (Tom) Zeveski and 29 great grandchildren.

Visitation: Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2019 and from 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2019 at St. John United Church of Christ in New Athens, IL. There will be a Women’s Guild service beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Funeral; Services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2019 at St. John United Church of Christ in New Athens, IL with Rev. Dr. Robert Koch and student pastor Tarrah Vaupel officiating. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery in Hecker, IL.
