Alberta Galle

Alberta Frieda, nee Triefenbach, Galle, 98, of Marissa, IL; born on March 20, 1920 in Marissa, IL; passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at her home.
Alberta was a homemaker and helped run the family farm. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ. Alberta enjoyed gardening and canning.
She was preceded in death by her parents – Michael and Bertha, nee Heberer, Triefenbach. Two brothers – Leonard Triefenbach; Virgil Triefenbach.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years – Martin Galle whom she married on June 18, 1949. One son – Milton (Ruth) Galle. Her grandchildren – Derek (Rebecca) Galle; Denise (Casey) Gann. Her great-grandchildren – Davin Galle; Clayton Galle.

Visitation: Friends may call at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
Funeral: Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 1:00pm.
Interment: Burial will be held in the Marissa Township Cemetery in Marissa, IL.
Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL is in charge of arrangements.
